Lost. Worn down. Carried along by a country that keeps moving whether we’re steering it or not. People aren’t sitting because they don’t care — they’re sitting because they don’t know the way. The road forward is confusing, and standing up feels like stepping into the dark. So we stay seated, slumped on the ass.
He wasn’t a general or a politician. He was an ordinary bloke who saw what needed doing and did it — on his feet, reaching back, getting the wounded man moving and walking him home. The answer to lost and broken isn’t pity. It’s guidance. We need the people with it in them to stand up, find the lost ones, and lead them home.
